☆ Date of birth: 13 April 1976, Date of death: 12 November 2003 - I knew that he died of suicide, but until I read it, I'd almost forgotten. ☆ I have been so busy the last couple of days with school getting ready to start. Well, it officially started yesterday. It wasn't what I was expecting, either. ☆ First off, I had French. It is elementary French, buy the instructor spoke mostly in French. I didn't understand much of what she was saying. However, with a bit of a Spanish background, I understood some. ☆ Today, I have journalism. It is a class that I need to take to get my journalism minor, so I have to take it, and I have to get a C or better. That shouldn't be a problem, I've written for a newspaper before. ☆ I didn't have time to practice my flute, violin, or clarinet yesterday. Usually, I would just practice the flute or violin, but I got the clarinet out and was polishing it. I think that I should start playing it again, at least just a little bit. ☆ Speaking of my clarinet, I asked Jeff about a tuning barrel. He said that he'd see if one of his friends had one that they didn't need. He said maybe for free, but hopefully cheap. ☆ I didn't have a chance to get a frame for that piano sheet music. I should definitely get that soon. I don't want my piano sheet music to be damaged when it's just sitting there. ☆

★ Now, I know how Garfield feels. It is Monday, and I was so busy this weekend that I'm exhausted. I just want to go back home and get back into bed. My comforter was so comfy this morning, but I threw it aside and got out of bed to wash my hair.
★ I remember now why I don't like taking showers in the morning. They are too much work. You have to shower, which is no big deal. However, you have to blow dry your hair, which takes forever. With evening showers, you can just let your hair dry naturally. I much prefer evening showers because I'm lazy. I shower, I'm out. Dry off, get dressed, and you're done.
★ I practiced my flute this weekend. I can play the F, but it isn't very consistent. I get easily light-headed. I'm really out of practice on a wind instrument. If I have time, I'm going to go home and practice tonight.
★ I am going to see how far I can work in my flute book tonight. I think that I will probably be able to play my piano sheet music on the flute before I'll be able to play it on the violin.
★ Kayla is having some really bad luck lately. She got a lot of bills over the weekend, and they are bills that she was told she wouldn't have. Stupid insurance companies!

I read an article where Svetlana Khorkina thinks that the women's gymnastics all-around was fixed so that an American would win.
And then she fell off of the uneven bars, an event that she won gold in Atlanta '96 and Sydney 2000.
This isn't the first time that Svetlana's ego has gotten in the way.
At the world championships this year, she lost to Carly Patterson. She bragged to Carly about some modeling she had done in Russia and was showing her pictures.
At the medals ceremony for the women's all-around, she was shoving her silver medal in Carly's face.
Perhaps, Svetlana is only starting this Olympic controversy because of Paul Hamm's gold medal.
She's a bad sport, and it's a good thing she's retiring.

Crystal Flutes

♡ Well, today is a good day. I found out that my crystal flutes should be here by next Wednesday. I have been waiting on them and can't wait until they are here. I think that I may get a crystal piccolo. Hopefully, it'll be pretty easy to learn.
♡ I got to see him today. It was pretty awkward at first, then we started hitting each other with slippers. That was kind of bizarre, but fun, in an odd sort of way. I think we just needed the time to have fun and relax.
♡ I really hope that my financial aid arrives soon. School starts next week and I don't have the money for the books. I College textbooks are insanely expensive. I have 4 classes and will spend about $200 on textbooks. Hopefully, most of my classes will only have 1 book, so I don't have to buy a whole bunch of books.
♡ I was doing a mini-inventory of what I have for classes. I think that the only things I really need are the books. I have backpacks, highlighters, pens, pencils, notebooks, paper, notecards, computer discs, binders, folders, erasers, page makers, Post-Its, markers. But I know that there is going to be something that I need to have, and won't.
♡ I still didn't practice my violin last night. I'm never going to be able to play all of the "My Immortal" piano sheet music. I think that if Amy Lee heard my rendition of the Evanescence song, she would probably beat me or something. It sounds horrible when I play it.

♬ I was looking at different tuning barrels for my clarinet. I want one that matches what I currently have. I don't want to tuning rings to be a different pattern or anything. The company I called told me that it would be about $50 to get one.
♬ In less than a week, I will be returning to college. Thankfully, I don't have to be in a dorm. I really don't think I could cram my life into such a tiny space that I would have to shart with another person.
♬ I want to get a Longaberger recipe basket. I really like to cook, and I have this little obsession with my kitchen. I made a little list of things that I still need for the kitchen. Mostly things like canisters and cookie sheets. Stuff that's not too expensive.
♬ Being home is boring. I haven't went out or anything since Sunday. I've just stayed home. I'm really not in the mood to go out, so I guess that it doesn't matter. It would just be nice to do something!
♬ I could be practicing my piano sheet music. It would give me something to do. And, I really ought to practice.
♬ Speaking of practice, my violin is calling my name. Again, I should practice, but it takes so much time to get everything ready for practice. I have to get my instrument, rosin the bow, get my sheet music, put on the shoulder rest, etc.

♡ To steal a phrase from Kevin, work has been "normal". ♡ I'm kind of glad there isn't always a lot of drama. ♡ I really don't like a lot of drama. ♡ ♬ ♡ I can't believe that my fourth year of college starts next Monday. ♡ I really wish that I would be graduating in May. ♡ Unfortunately, I changed my major from psychology to education to communication. ♡ I'm closer to graduating as a communcations major than I ever would have been as an education major. ♡ With communication, I should be graduating in May 2006. ♡ With education, it would have been December 2006 or even May 2007. ♡ ♬ ♡ I haven't been practicing my violin as much as I should. ♡ If I ever want to be at least decent on the violin, I'm going to have to practice. ♡ I'm never going to be able to play all of the "My Immortal" piano sheet music if I don't practice. ♡ ♬ ♡ My flute should be here on Friday. I keep checking UPS tracking. ♡ I ordered two books, one is a method book to learn to play the flute, the other is an easy book of movie themes. ♡
